Mac Laptop Now owning a laptop is easier and more affordable than ever! Take advantage of Vedanta’s Educational Pricing for components and software, not available to the average consumer. Lease through us at a cost of $72.00 per month with a $100.00 buyout at the end of the contract and YOU keep the computer! With lease and loss/damage insurance included, your Mac is still $200.00 below retail for hardware, warranty, operating system and software upgrades.

Why the Macbook?

Unlike the laptop programs offered through the Public schools, students can use their Macs for normal, at home use and safely return to our monitored Vedanta network. With server and wireless upgrades this summer the MacBooks will be on high speed wireless connection in ALL areas of the school; giving students access to the school network, printers and presentation equipment.

A white MacBook laptop, 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB 160GB/SD.
The latest Apple software including:: iPhoto, Garage Band (99 channel recording software with sync) iLife, iWorks, iMovie (video editing), iDVD, Pages (word processing), Numbers (spreadsheets), Keynote (presentations) and Office 2004 for Mac. Additional programs will be installed as needed for classes such as Media Studies.
3 year AppleCare equipment warranty. 3 years Software & Operating System upgrades (as they come out).
Access to the Mac Learning Lab where students learn how to operate the software and apply it to class work.
